VOTING INFORMATION
TO REGISTER YOU MUST....
be a United States citizen AND
be a resident of Putnam County, Tennessee AND
be at least 18 years old by the next Election AND
not have been convicted of a felony, or if you have, your full rights of citizenship must have been restored (or you must have received a pardon).
The State of Tennessee has a new CERTIFICATE OF RESTORATION which is effective as of September 1, 2010. Click on the link below to print it off or come into our office and pick one up.

**Anyone who registers by mail, must
vote in person the first time he or she votes after registering.
If you are already registered in Putnam County and you move within
Putnam County, you will need to change your address with us.

YOU DO NOT REGISTER
BY POLITICAL PARTY IN TENNESSEE. However, you must declare a party when you vote in a
Party Primary.
YOU MUST REGISTER TO
VOTE OR MAKE ANY CHANGES to your registration information at least 30 days prior to any
Election.
ELECTION DAY
***The polls will be open from 9:00 a.m. to
7:00 p.m. in all precincts in Putnam County on Election Days.
